This is absolutely one of the best things to do with kids in Vegas!

Age Requirements:

Children that are under 48″ 2-5 years can operate with assistance from a guardian (no additional cost for a parent or guardian).
Children that are 48″ or taller can operate independently.聽
There is no age limit to operate these excavators, so adults are welcome to book a session too!

Supervision & Booking Tips

Child Supervision:

Kids Digs require parental supervision for all children, at all times, and parental assistance if your child is under 48″.
If you have multiple children under 48″ we recommend bringing both parents, a friend or family member to help supervise. We cannot leave any children unattended while the parent/guardian assists another operator (this includes children in strollers/car seats).聽

Booking Tips:

Book a single session (15-min) or double session (2 back-to-back 15-min. sessions) online. If your child loves it and has the energy for more, book another session while you鈥檙e here.
If both parents want to have time operating with their child on the Kids Digs, book back-to-back sessions so each parent has time with their child.聽

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book more than one session for my child?

Yes, we can schedule multiple sessions聽 back to back. (e.g. 10 am booking and a second session at 10:20 am or whatever appropriate time works for you). We recommend not booking more than two in a row, given the limited attention spans that our younger operators have.聽 If your child is loving it and wants to continue, it’s usually an option to add on an additional time.

Can I put my child on the adult machines?

For the safety of your child, we cannot put kids in adult machines. Each of the larger machines has one seat and one seatbelt, which is not conducive to sharing. The Kids Digs machines can include an adult supervisor because we have disabled the track motor, and they are not in motion for everyone’s safety.

What if my kid(s) are not 48"tall?

Your child can still operate machines less than 48″tall; they just need to sit on the lap of a parent or guardian to assist them with reaching the controls. Your child will be able to operate the machine on their own (or with the help of an adult if needed).

Can my partner and I split the time to supervise so we both get pictures with our child?

Given the limited operating time during a session, we cannot switch between parents as it greatly reduces the operating time for your child on the equipment. We recommend one parent sit with the child and the other take photos/videos. Alternatively, you’re welcome to book two sessions back-to-back. This allows each parent to sit with the child for one session, and everyone gets the time to operate and take the photos they want.

What happens if one parent brings two children? How can we all enjoy the experience?

What is your cancellation policy?

Need to cancel your reservation at Dig This?聽
We get it. Plans can change.聽

You have the option to reschedule for a different date or time of your choosing; simply contact us at least 24 hours notice prior to the start of your reserved Dig Time.聽
Alternatively, convert your booking into a gift certificate worth the full value paid and choose a later date and time within one year from the original Dig Time.
聽If you prefer to cancel your booking completely, let us know at least 24 hours before your original Dig Time, and we will refund 50% of your original payment.

The Kids’ Dig was a phenomenal experience. Every employee we met made our child feel like a VIP. Our guide Dave was amazing. Halfway through our time slot, our child had a little meltdown, but within 30 seconds, Dave had him digging as if nothing happened. We’ll definitely be returning.

Fun for the whole family!

Our 3-year-old did a 15-minute kids dig, and two dads did a Bulldozer and an Excavator Session. The office staff, the safety, and the dig guides did an excellent job and were extremely helpful in getting the most out of those couple of hours. Great experience, highly recommended

15 Minutes Is Plenty of Time for Little Ones

If you have young kids and looking for something to do whilst visiting Vegas, Dig This is a great place to bring them for a short but memorable experience. 15mins might seem short be it鈥檚 plenty of time for the little ones to play with the excavator and dig a big hole.

Seamless Process!
